Parque Loro

Parque Loro is a small zoo that houses many endangered species.   Their mission is to help these animals reproduce and keep them from becoming extinct.  They have many types of exotic birds, lots of monkeys and a few wild cats.
Feeding a Guacamaya (macaw) sunflower seeds.

Alex is holding a quill from a porcupine that an animal keeper gave him.

Waiting for the bird show to start.

Here Santi and some other boys had to close their eyes and guess
which animal was being rubbed on their necks.  It was a small iguana!

Alex is waiting for his turn nervously.

The park has four crocodiles.

This baby lion is one month old.  We paid to have pictures taken with her.

This boy loves animals.
