We happened upon Chalchihuapan.
Chall-Chee-Waw-Pon. The cows parted the way for us as we drove up what became a very steep and bumpy path. At the top we found a beautiful church and lots of paramotors(paramotorers?). I had never seen anything like them before. They fly seated in little pods. We hadn't planned on going up but Alex saw them and said "Mommy, look, umbrellas." It was kind of an adventure for him and us too because we drove up as far as we could on this mountain and then cimbed up higher to watch the paramotors. It was almost dusk so some were landing but a few sailed on into the sunset.

Bright Eyes
Alex: (in the backseat of the car on the way home from the supermarket) Mommy, I found Burger King!
Me: Wow Alex, you sure have some bright eyes (meaning to say sharp of course)
Alex: Hey Mommy, I don't have bright eyes, I have brown eyes!
Alex was climbing the steps a few days ago and started singing "Yo se que puedo volar....." (I believe I can fly...)
Alex keeps telling Daniel to speak English to him. Papi!!! Speak English! I asked him which language he likes better and he said English. It's funny how he knows who to speak which language to, though. I tell him to tell someone thank you in public and he'll say "gracias".
Yesterday after church, when we got Alex from his class, he told his teachers "gracias por venir"
(thanks for coming!)
When Daniel brought home our newly purchased car last week, Alex looked at it and said, "NO, I didn't want that one, I wanted a yellow one. " (random)
